The FCC 300th Anniversary
Capital Fund Drive
To help
celebrate the 300th anniversary of The First Congregational
Church of Falmouth, the Sanctuary Committee and the Board of
Trustees have established goals to modify and make improvements
to the church to help us enter our fourth century with a Church
facility that we look at with pride.
These
goals will preserve the historical characteristics and charm of
the church, while updating the safety and comfort concerns of
the parishioners.
Among
the many improvements planned:
1.
Painting the narthex and sanctuary.
2.
Replacing the pew cushions and upholstery, painting the pews and
replacing the hymnal book racks.
3.
Improving the ceiling and wall lighting.
4.
Reorganizing and replacing obsolete equipment for convenience
and safety.
Our
estimated budget is $200,000, and the goal is to complete the
Capital Campaign by October 2008. Should you wish to support
